Gossen Metrawatt the measurement technology specialist, introduces a new generation of High-Performance Energy Meters with ultra compact dimensions.
The new range with scalable functionality is available for 2-, 3- and 4-wire networks with converter connection (1 (6) A) and input voltages from 100 to 500 V. Through MID-compliant initial verification, the devices also provides billable consumption and feed data for cost center-related billing. In addition to the power consumption, up to 33 additional measured variables such as reactive energy, apparent power, neutral current, power factor, and frequency as well as the own energy supply can be recorded depending on the selected device version.
The power quality is also monitored by means of THD detection for current and voltage. The ENERGYMID is also equipped with up to eight tariff inputs for future changes to the tariff structure. The measurement values are transmitted via impulse via standardized or freely programmable S0 interfaces. Optionally, the meters can be equipped with additional bus interfaces for LON, M-Bus, Modbus-RTU / -TCP and BACnet for data transmission and remote reading. An integrated ring buffer takes over the local data backup.
With high power density, the new series with only four 18 mm graduation units is particularly compact and can be mounted on 35 mm DIN rails in any mounting position. A backlit display clearly shows the selected measurement data, simplifies the monitoring of the connection parameters and warns against installation errors by changing the color. Protectiion against manipulation is prevented by a para-meterisation lock and the sealed cover. The new ENERGYMID is available at an attractive price with a three year manufacturer's warranty.
