EM202: Analog inputs

Does the system have analog inputs, for example for exact feedback of the power that consumers to be disconnected are currently pulling?

By default, no analog outputs are integrated. However, this feature is available at extra cost. Alternatively, pulse counters for power measurement of selected resources to be controlled can be connected to free binary inputs.

Analog inputs: With regard to the system structure, the same principle applies here as for the analog outputs! If analog inputs are required as part of the load optimization (eg for momentary power limitation, analog power measurement of devices to be controlled), we set here the analog coupling BS401 (8 voltage inputs 230 V AC, 32 current inputs 0 ... 1A) or BS403 (4 voltage inputs 230 V AC , 12 current inputs 0..1A) in addition. Thus, a maximum of 32 analog inputs minus the occupied binary inputs (one component can manage a maximum of 32 analog / binary signals) are available for each Micro System U1500 A0 or for each system extension U1500 A2. Alternatively, pulse counters for power measurement of selected resources to be controlled can be connected to free binary inputs.

A separate analog power measurement is only displayed if the power requirement of the equipment to be controlled fluctuates extremely strongly (greater than +/- 20%). For such applications, the determination of the power contribution for the corresponding optimization channel is individually configured and programmed at the factory (on the software level). By default, the power contribution of the resource from the binary run feedback signal and the predetermined average power of that resource is permanently calculated by the system; Due to the overall power measurement, the control algorithm compensates for errors in the mean power of individual resources of approximately 20%. This is sufficient for 99% of all connected equipment, so that an analog power measurement can usually be dispensed with.
