PX5 Power Visa, Power Guide, Power Xplorer - How long can I record?

The maximum recording time is the memory (4GB) in my unit designed or how long can I record with my Analyzer?

The maximum recording can not be estimated. The memory usage is dependent on the device settings and the number of triggered events during a given recording session.

Nevertheless, in order to be able to make statements about the storage capacity, measurements were carried out with analyzer. During the recording, various events were simulated e.g. Voltage dips and voltage overshoots.

Below you will find results of the measurement series with the appropriate setting and the associated memory requirements:

PX5 Power Visa, Power Guise, Power Xplorer Recording & Download-Speed:

        • with continuous recording in the 10s interval (without events) including harmonics.ca. 2 MB/h: 256MB = 128h = 5 days 8h
        • with continuous recording in the 1s interval ((without events) including harmonics)
          ca. 5 MB/h: 256 MB = 50h = 2 days
        • with continuous recording in the 10s interval (without events) including Harmonics
ca. 320 days ca. 50kB per event at default setting (2x5Periods Waveform 2x12 RMS)

Download via NodeLink: @9600Bd = 45kB/Min,   @115200Bd = 180kB/Min

The devices cap the recording after max. 256 MB (factory setting 128 MB) and create a new storage folder on the CF card. Measured values and curve shape curves are first written to the main memory and then to the created folder. A complete record is guaranteed.
