PG201: Protective conductor test indicates external voltage, although there is no voltage

External voltage is displayed during the protective earth test, even though there is no voltage. Subject: PROFITEST 204 If the circuit is not closed by the protective conductor connection to be measured, then capacitive alternating voltage can be coupled to the now open measuring lines. This voltage is detected by PROFITEST and classified as external voltage. There is no measurement, as this could result in a true external voltage to a short circuit.
