Switch the rotary knob of the Profitest 204 into the Structuring file box. Do not press another button on the test instrument.
Before reading out with a PC software, you may have to set the COM interface in the software to which the Profitest 204 is attached.
If a USB adapter is used, the virtual COM interface used is displayed in the Windows Device Manager under - Ports COM and LPT. If no COM interface is displayed here, the driver for the USB adapter must first be installed.
For the Z501L adapter, use the program Drivercontrol .
Then start reading in with the respective software.
