PG416: Short-circuit message when testing intact spotlights or halogen lamps

Subject: SECUTEST

The testers check for a short circuit between L and N of the device under test.

Luminaires with high power are so low in the cold state that this is interpreted as a short circuit.

Briefly plug such lights into the mains to heat up the filament and then test immediately afterwards. The filament is then so hot that it is high impedance and thus passes the short circuit test.
