The OPC server only provides up-to-date measurement data. Historical data, events, and configurations are not provided through this interface. Thus, the interface is primarily suitable for communication with control systems that want to access current data from the SMARTCONTROL.
Currently, the OPC server only supports MS-COM technology. DA 3.0 is the last version before UA (XML-OPC).
